Guwahati\u00a0 :<\/strong> Kumar Sanjay Krishna, Additional Chief Secretary Home, Politicai, Revenue and Disaster Management, etc., <\/span>has been appointed as the Chief Secretary to the Government of Assam upon superannuation of present incumbent Alok Kumar on December 31. <\/span><\/p>\n

The Assam Government through an order on Tuesday made the appointment of 1985 IAS batch Krishna and also made changes in the top bureaucracy either transferring and positing nine IAS officers. <\/span><\/p>\n

Bhaskar, who is also Additional Chief Secretary Information & Public Relations and Printing & Stationery Department, will be the Chief Secretary with effect from the date of taking over charge, according to the government order here.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jishnu Barua is posted as Additional Chief Secretary Home & Political and Revenue & Disaster Management Departments in addition to his present Secretariat Administration (Archives) Department. <\/span>Barua is, however, relieved from his additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary Environment & Forest and Excise Department, the order said.<\/span><\/p>\n

The other bureaucratic rejig include Rajiv Kumar Bora, who is relieved from the additional charges of Chairman of Board of Revenue, Assam and Additional Chief Secretary Finance, Soil Conservation and Transformation & Development Departments but continues as Chairman of Assam Administrative Tribunal. <\/span><\/p>\n

V S Bhaskar, Additional Chief Secretary Pensions & Public Grievances, Hill Areas and Mines and Minerals Departments is transferred and posted as Chairman of Board of Revenue, Assam.<\/span>
\nSyedain Abbasi, Principal Secretary to Assam Government, Public Health Engineering, Water Resources, Information Technology and Science & Technology Departments is also posted as Principal Secretary Pension & Public Grievances Department as additional charge.<\/span><\/p>\n

Biswaranjan Samal, Principal Secretary Cooperation and Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Departments and MD, Assam Food and Civil Supplies Corporation Limited is also posted as Principal Secretary Hill Areas Department.<\/span><\/p>\n

Samir Kumar Sinha, Principal Secretary Health & Family Welfare, Finance and Pension & Public Grievances Departments and Additional Principal Resident Commissioner, Assam Bhawan, New Delhi is transferred and substantively posted also as Principal Secretary Finance Department and posted as Principai Secretary Transformation & Development Department.<\/span>
\nAvinash Purushottam Das Joshi, Principal Secretary Sports & Youth Welfare Departments is also posted as Principal Secretary Environment & Forest, Excise and Mines & Minerals Departments as additional charge.<\/span><\/p>\n

Preetom Saikia, Commissioner & Secretary Elementary Education, Secondary Education and Cultural Affairs Departments is also posted as Commissioner & Secretary Printing & Stationery and Information & Public Relations Departments as additional charge.<\/span>
\nNitin Kumar Shivdas Khade, Commissioner Barak Valley Division, Development Commissioner, Hill Areas and Commissioner & Secretary Finance and Transformation & Development <\/span><\/p>\n
