A<\/span>ssam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma launched a sharp criticism of the INDIA bloc and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, claiming that if Rahul Gandhi wants to be Prime Minister, he will have to travel to the Moon. In addition, Himanta Biswa Sarma declared that Narendra Modi will remain Prime Minister of India until 2024. <\/span><\/p>\n

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma suggested that Rahul Gandhi:<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

“If Rahul Gandhi wants to become PM, then I will send him to the Moon in Chandrayaan and he can become PM there,\u201d he said during the Vaishali Utsav held at Nalanda University in Rajgir, Nalanda district of Bihar. When asked if Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar could be the potential PM from the INDIA bloc, Sarma replied that Nitish Kumar will not even become the leader of the alliance and is unlikely to become the Prime Minister. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWhatever information we have got about INDIA alliance meetings; on that basis I am saying that the Chief Minister of Bihar (Nitish Kumar) will not even become the convener of the INDIA bloc or the Prime Minister of India because Modi ji is reserved there. But I guarantee that there is no hope for Nitish Ji, he will be left as an isolated person in the alliance,\u201d the Chief Minister clarified.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sarma also commented on the controversy over Sanatana Dharma, stating that the Congress’ silence on the issue indicates that they are behind it. \u201cWhat is the Congress stand on it? If the faith of 80 per cent people of India is being attacked and Congress is not saying anything about it, then it is logical that Congress is behind it. That’s why the people of the country have to identify who wants to destroy us. We all should come together and punish Congress in the next elections,\u201d said Sarma<\/span><\/p>\n

Earlier, Himanta Biswa Sarma had taken a jab at the INDIA bloc’s decision to boycott certain journalists, accusing them of having an \u201cintolerant attitude\u201d. “Today, the INDIA alliance has boycotted a few journalists. The same people who were lecturing us on freedom of speech, by boycotting news anchors have proved their intolerant attitude. If these people come to government, the first thing they will do is impose press censorship,” said Sarma.<\/span><\/p>\n
