Several locations in the state, including Dhubri, Neamatighat, Road Bridge, the Dikhou River, and Golakganj, have reported the river flowing above the danger mark.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA) mentioned that the flood has impacted 120 villages in 11 revenue circles and submerged approximately 3000 hectares of crop area in the affected districts. Specifically in Sonitpur district, 38 villages are currently underwater, and the floodwaters have covered 426.50 hectares of crop area.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Unfortunately, 14 people have lost their lives in Assam due to the floods this year.
