The court concluded that the present petition is misconceived and therefore dismissed it. Article 35-A, which provided special rights to the residents of Jammu and Kashmir, was also discussed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">On August 5, 2019, the central government revoked the special status of Jammu and Kashmir by abrogating Article 370.
