The Ministry of Defence has sent out formal invitations to 1,800 individuals and their spouses to attend the 77th Independence Day celebrations<\/strong><\/span><\/a> at Red Fort. These special guests were selected as part of the ‘Jan Bhagidari’ initiative by the Centre.<\/p>\n

“Inclusive Independence Day Celebrations at Red Fort:<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The guest list includes 400 village heads, 250 individuals from the Farmer Producer Organisations scheme, 50 construction workers from the Central Vista Project, as well as 50 primary school teachers, nurses, and fishermen. Additionally, 50 Khadi workers involved in various projects such as border roads and the Har Ghar Jal scheme are also invited.<\/p>\n

Some of these guests will have the opportunity to visit the National War Memorial and meet the Minister of State for Defence, Ajay Bhatt. Furthermore, 1,100 National Cadet Core cadets from different schools will participate in the celebrations. The event will also feature the G-20 logo as part of the floral decorations at Red Fort.<\/p>\n
